oPENING KITCHEN

There are spaces that instinctively slow the pace of those who enter, as though the light, textures and stillness within have quietly prepared the senses for an emotional journey waiting beyond the door.

Inspired by the Nordic regions that shaped Chef Hoang Tung’s culinary philosophy, the restaurant is defined by soft curved arches, sculptural walls rich in visual depth and gentle blue lighting reminiscent of the aurora skies across Scandinavian winters. Every detail is intentionally restrained, preserving a sense of intimacy and calm throughout space.

MAIN DINING

At the centre of the interior are stalactite-inspired sculptures influenced by Northern ice formations, featuring raw textures and organic silhouettes that feel naturally shaped over time. Surrounding them are flowing architectural curves, layered surfaces and soft blue hues that evoke the stillness of Nordic winter landscapes.

Within the restaurant’s signature palette of deep blue tones, dark timber finishes and the warm golden glow of the open kitchen create a subtle contrast that recalls the comfort of secluded wooden cabins beneath the northern lights. The balance between coolness and warmth, minimalism and emotion, gives space its distinctive atmosphere and depth.

The staircase itself becomes part of the architectural narrative, with its flowing curves, dark wood textures and sculpted walls creating a seamless connection between each level while adding a sense of quiet elegance and artistry.

At Å by TUNG, the space is envisioned as the opening chapter of the dining journey. Before the first course arrives, guests begin experiencing the restaurant through light, sound and the still rhythm surrounding them, allowing every sense to gradually slow down before the culinary voyage begins.
